The Al-misk Hifth program is an intensive hifdh program established in early 2020.
The aim of the program is to produce hufaath with proficiency in both memorisation of the Qur'an & recall. The ability to maintain what has been memorised is an integral component of this program.
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍۢ
And We have certainly made the Quran easy to remember. So is there anyone who will be mindful? [54:40]

Main Levels

The program has 3 levels:

1. Beginners: 1 page per week

2. Intermediate: Quarter of a hizb (2.5 pages per week)

3. Advanced: 2 quarters of a hizb (5 pages per week)

Routine assessments with hurdle requirements are conducted at the completion of specific milestones. Assessments are cumulative with the ultimate aim of conducting an assessment on the entire Quran.

Yes, there is a daily revision program which consists of recent & old revision & is part of a weekly schedule that ensures all memorisation is revised every week.

A memorisation method heavily dependent on repetition to ensure solid hifth

The tasmee' (reciting to the teacher from memory) is conducted one-to-one. Each student is allocated a specific time for tasmee' which ensures fluency in a timely manner.

The program runs throughout the year with no break in the school holidays.

The program follows a set order, starting memorisation from the start of the mushaf ( Al-Fatiha followed by Al-Baqara, Al-Imran….)

No. It is a requirement to follow the program as it is set, including all the assessments that it incorporates

The cost of this course is $100 per school semester. It is paid twice a year.
