Advanced 2 is the final level of the Tajweed courses at Tarteel.

In this level, students will learn some of the final rules of Tajweed.

Some of the milestones in this level include:

Mastering the recitation through the studying, understanding as well as the application of the following:

  • The Rasm of the Mus'haf and its symbols; Usool of the Riwayah of Hafs; Tanbeeyhaat that one should be cautious of for Hafs; Fiqh matters

This level also focuses on students proficiency in the application of all studied rules thus far.

Students would be expected to be at an excellent level in recitation and fluency, in addition to applying all previously learnt rules of Tajweed

Main Topics

      • The Rasm of the Mus'haf and its symbols
      • Usool of the Riwayah of Hafs
      • Tanbeeyhaat that one should be cautious of for Hafs
      • Infiradaat - students will be required to memorise 6 of the infiradaat (the word and the surah)

      ( هزوًا, كفوًا, السكتات الأربعة الواجبة, أنسانيهُ|عليهُ, كلّ, ويتقْهِ)

      • Fiqh matters - only that which is mentioned in the book without going in depth

From al-Fatiha until the end of Juzz 6

Recitation Exam: the complete Mus'haf

From Juz’ 1 to the end of the Mus'haf (Surat An-Naas).

Memorisation:

Surat Al-Kahf


Pre-requisites:
Completed Advanced 1 or its equivalent

Duration:
1 semester

Assessment:
This level includes formal assessments for all the different components - theory, memorisation and reading.

Frequently asked questions

All Quran levels have formal exams at the end of the semester in all the 3 components of learning: Theory, recitation and memorisation.

The cost of this level is $300

No. From Introductory 1 to Advanced 2 memorisation is part of the requirements.

New applicants can not directly register themselves into a level. All applicants must be assessed on enrollment day in order for the students level to be determined.
