The Arabic Language was honoured by Allah SWT to be the language of the Holy Quran.

Learning the Arabic Language is vital for any individual who is keen to understand and connect with the book of Allah SWT as it strengthens an individuals bond with the Quran and understanding of the words of the Creator.

The arabic program utilises the Madinah Arabic Books to teach the grammatical lessons and apply them on Quranic verses .

Main Language Areas

Vocabulory

Every lesson, students learn a new set of words after having used them in class.

Consequently, lesson after lesson, students build their vocabulary bank to gain greater understanding in the language.

Reading and writing

Students practice reading in every class. Participation in this activity counts towards assessment marks.

Students are also encouraged to write in their books during online classes, as well as practice their writing skills in a writing book that has been specifically designed by and for the Tarteel Arabic Team.

Dialogue

The Madinah books include great dialogues which simulate real-life situations.

During the classes, students get to read these dialogues themselves and analyse the sentences in them to fully comprehend the meaning as well as understand the grammar topics covered in them.

    إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ ﴿١﴾ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ ﴿٢﴾

Have you ever thought when readying Surah Al Qadr, why the word لَيلة is written as لَيلَةِ in Verse 1 and as ليلةُ in Verse 2?

    Grammar

When you read the Quran, you might find yourself wondering about such differences. The science of grammar explains all these differences and acts as the key to unlock many deeper understandings of the amazing verses of our Holy Book.

What makes learning Arabic at Tarteel different from other institutes that teach the Madinah Arabic Books is that we aim to teach our students the Grammar as Native speakers do, which gives them a much stronger foundation in understanding the language as well as the ability to apply what they have learnt to the words and sentences of the Holy Quran.
