Note: there are limited weekend / weeknight spots available for this current semester.
Please be aware that class levels for students are decided according to an assessment that is done by a teacher from our institute. All students who are interested in joining, need to be present in the session in person, in order to be assessed by one of our teachers.

Enrolment Process
Ever wondered how to apply to start your learning journey at Tarteel? You have come to the right place.
Step one: All applicants interested in starting their learning journey at Tarteel must first register their details on the website by clicking on the login button above.
Step two: Once details have been filled, the applicant will automatically receive a welcome message to the email that they registered with.
Note: each student must register with an email address that is unique to them, as the system does not accept duplicate emails.
Step three: Tarteel Enrolments occur twice a year- in January and in July. Once enrolment day has been determined, all applicants who formally registered will receive an email about the details of attending enrolment day.
Step four: After attending enrolment day, Tarteel will be in contact with you about your class allocation via email/SMS.
Note: allocation into a class is based on first-come-first-serve and therefore sometimes Tarteel is unable to offer all applicants a spot when classes have reached their maximum capacity. In such cases, students are put on a waiting list.
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
يجيء القرآن يوم القيامة فيقول: يا رب حله، فيلبس تاج الكرامة، ثم يقول: يا رب زده، فيلبس حلة الكرامة، ثم يقول: يا رب أرض عنه فيرضى عنه، فيقال له اقرأ وارق وتزاد بكل آية حسنة
“The Quran will come on the Day of Judgement and say, “O my Rabb, Beautify him [i.e. The person who devoted his life to Quran]” He will be made to wear a crown of honour.” The Quran will then say, “O my Rabb, grant him more.” He will be dressed in garments of honour. The Quran will then say. “O my Rabb! Be pleased with him.” Allah will be pleased with him” He will then be told, “Recite and rise up. For each Verse he recites, his reward will increase'”

Frequently asked questions
Assessment is a short test conducted by one of our teachers to determine the students' level and recommend them for a suitable class.
Students are requested to read from selected pages of the Qur'an or from the IQRA books depending on their current level.
However, if a student is starting with no prior reading knowledge, then they will not be asked to read.
Any new student is welcome to attend enrolment. However, you will still need to register your details online in order for your application to be processed.
When you join on the day you need to write your name in the chat box and wait to be called and get admitted to the breakout room. Once your name is added to the breakout room you will need to accept the request from your end in order to join. If you have not registered online before the evening, you will be required to do so while you wait on your phone or by using a laptop or iPad.
NOTE: it is a requirement to add an email address when the student registers online. Our system does not accept duplicate email addresses, i.e. two people registering under the same email address.
We communicate with our students throughout the year via emails and messages. It is not possible to explain detailed messages and information via SMS. In such cases extra details will be sent through emails such as exam reports.
The actual test is 10-15 mins. However, sometimes long delays do occur when there are other applicants ahead of you.
All classes will commence towards the start of February for semester 1 intake and mid July for Semester 2 intake.
Some levels have different options of days while others might have limited days.
We will be in contact with you via sms and email, which will be sent from an internet service (TarteelBR). You must click on the link in the message or the email in order to accept the preferred spot. Failure to confirm your spot may result in the spot being passed on to the next person on the waiting list.
No, only new students need to attend so that we can determine their level. However, if you are a student that has deferred for more than a semester (6 months), you will need to attend enrolment day to be reassessed.
Unfortunately, this is the only time for enrollments and no student can be accepted after that.
All students that are interested in joining MUST be present in person.
We work according to our ability to fit every student in however this is not always feasible. In order to facilitate the likelihood of getting a spot, we advise you to keep your preferences on days and times open as specific days and times may be limited or full.
